I love you times infinity plus a billionty

Today I was having a bad day. Just an all around girlish bad day. I haven't been feeling well lately and I'm sure that adds to my low self esteem and how hard I am on myself. But, I am so thankful that I have a beautiful ray of sunshine in my life.

I know it sounds corny but I really don't know what I would do without my darling husband to brighten up my life. He always knows what to say and how to make me feel better. Today he dropped by my work and left a darling love note in my car and then when we had lunch together he made me laugh as we drove around in the sunshine. I am so grateful for him and all that he does for me.

I love you sweetheart!

GRRRRR!

Is it May 29 yet? That is the last day of work for me and I can't wait. And I can't wait because of one reason...a bratty teacher that just get's under my skin and rubs me the wrong way. Here is the story...

I have been working with students in a hallway since November. It has been great to be one-on-one and have the privacy to teach. Well everything has been great, until the last 3 weeks. I don't know what I have done to tick this lady off so bad, but I swear she is out to get me and make me feel terrible every. single. day.

For the last 3 weeks she comes out of her classroom at least twice a week to say "Be quiet! You are so loud and it's annoying that you disrupt my class!" in a snarky voice. She always seems to do that in front of a student too. Nice huh? Well I have just been taking her crap because it's not worth it to get in a fight with her because I think she may be the wicked witch of the west reincarnated. Today was the last straw though...

As I am reading with a student, she comes out of her classroom. The door had been shut all morning and I figured today she wouldn't come chat with me. I was very wrong. She walks out and says " Come here for a minute." So I walk over. She continues " You are so loud every day. I can hear you all the way back at my desk and it's quite annoying. There is no reason you should be talking this loud to a student. When they are sitting next to you just whisper. You need to talk quieter because you are too disruptive and I really can't have that." And she walks back into her room.  Once again she spoke in an irritated voice and just wasn't kind and again it was in front of a student.

Okay lady? What did I do to you? Seriously?? I am so done with her and her rude comments that can't even be true. One, I have been working in that location for 4 months and she hasn't had a problem until the last 3 weeks. Two, there are 3 other teachers within the same listening distance as she is and none of them have approached me about this problem. And three, I just think she is the meanest lady on earth that likes to pick fights with anyone she possibly can as she has caused problems with other teachers this year. So I notified my boss that I would no longer be willing to work in that hallway and they need to find me a new location to teach. I'm sure she will be very happy to find me another place because if I have to deal with this snot any longer I will not be employed by Alpine School District for long.

I am mad.
Can you tell?

Okay, vent over.
I'm gonna find myself a treat and try to calm down.
Sorry this is such a downer post, but it was better than swearing like a sailor until I felt better.
Find some sunshine and enjoy it today :)

Happiest Place on Earth

This last weekend Josh and I got to go to Disneyland with Maddie, Bridger, and my Mom. We were so excited to get away from life for a few days. The drive down was such a blast, and the trip was even more fun. I don't know when I have laughed that hard in a long time! My brother and sister are seriously hilarious and they just kept us going the entire time. We had some rough moments every now and again, which was only expected because after all we are family. The trip as a whole though was wonderful.

On this trip there were some firsts that were quite monumental:
Mom-first time to Disneyland without Dad (hard, but still a first and triumph none the less) Maddie and Bridger-first time on Tower of Terror and 2nd and 3rd time too
Josh-first full day at Disneyland on Sunday
Libby-first time doing Disneyland pregnant

I had no idea how hard it would be to make it through 40 hours of Disneyland walking and pregnant. Oh man, after like 3 hours on the first day I was pretty worn out. I also had a TON of pain in my feet and ankles. Luckily my mom decided to stay and visit with me while the other 3 did the big rides so I got lots of down time to put my feet up. At the end of the second day though I was in bad shape. My feet were so swollen and I didn't know if I could even walk out to the car to go home. I made it through the day though and still had one day ahead of me. So I did the unthinkable....

I actually wore my flip flops to Disneyland! I always made fun of people that did that. I couldn't imagine being comfortable in flip flops for more than 4 hours of walking. But miraculously I found out that flip flops were a BILLION times more comfortable than my regular shoes. I just wish I had discovered that on the first day instead of the last.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on about stupid things like wearing flip flops to Disneyland, but it really was a big Disneyland milestone in my life, ha ha. I am so grateful I had this time with my family to bond and become stronger than we are. I can't wait for the next vacation!

Really?!?

So I got on Motherhood.com today to see if I could find some cute new things to spice up my wardrobe.
As I got online I was greeted by models that look like this
Really? Does any pregnant girl really look like this because I sure don't.
I got depressed really fast and decided to abort looking for anything new.
Ugh, maybe I will try again tomorrow when my self-esteem is better
