I want to go to there

Spring break is next week and I am so excited that I get a week away from my students. I love them, don't get me wrong, it's just definitely time for a break. Sadly I won't be going anywhere exciting just hanging out in my house doing homework mostly. I just wish I was going to a far away land where I could forget all my worries and just enjoy sunshine. 

My first pick if I could go anywhere? 

Hawaii

I can picture it now...sitting on the beach, playing in the waves, enjoying fresh pineapple, and sleeping in every morning. Aww...now I'm just going to keep dreaming!

Hmm...

As most of you know, last week we went to the doctor for our second ultrasound. And this time our baby's knees were still together so we couldn't see 100% but the doctor did come up with an answer...It's a girl! He said he was 96% sure that it was a girl and he got multiple views. He also said he hasn't been wrong in 16 years which was reassuring.

Well....now I am starting to wonder how right he is! When my mom was having my brother she was never sick and had nose bleeds all the time. Guess what symptoms I have most? Yep, that's right-nosebleeds all the time. So now I'm worried. What if my little darling really comes out a boy instead of a girl? If that does happen well then he will have a green and pink bedroom with lots of frilly clothes waiting for him. Ahh! I am tempted to go to an ultrasound place at the mall to confirm everything because I'm really starting to worry that much!

So for right now I will trust the doctor and go forward with plans, let's just hope he is right!

I'm a big girl now...

I decided today that I'm officially grown up because I drove all the way to Weber State University in Ogden by myself (with never having been there.)

Got there in good time, found the booth to buy my parking permit, and got to the right parking lot. I then found the building on campus I needed, walked straight into the testing room and took my 3 tests before making the drive home.

So weird that I can go and do things like that without anyone with me!

Summer

Today I am craving summer.

I love that for the last couple of days I have been able to drive around with my windows rolled down and go everywhere without a jacket. I miss floating around in the wave pool and snacking on a snow cone in the afternoon. I miss wearing shorts and cute tees and colorful sandals. I miss the happiness that comes from continual sunshine.

And so today...I'm craving summer.
