As most of you know, last week we went to the doctor for our second ultrasound. And this time our baby's knees were still together so we couldn't see 100% but the doctor did come up with an answer...It's a girl! He said he was 96% sure that it was a girl and he got multiple views. He also said he hasn't been wrong in 16 years which was reassuring.
Well....now I am starting to wonder how right he is! When my mom was having my brother she was never sick and had nose bleeds all the time. Guess what symptoms I have most? Yep, that's right-nosebleeds all the time. So now I'm worried. What if my little darling really comes out a boy instead of a girl? If that does happen well then he will have a green and pink bedroom with lots of frilly clothes waiting for him. Ahh! I am tempted to go to an ultrasound place at the mall to confirm everything because I'm really starting to worry that much!
So for right now I will trust the doctor and go forward with plans, let's just hope he is right!
I'm so excited for you Libby! Yay for little girls:)
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better, I have nosebleeds all the time too! I was also WAAAY worried that it wasn't really a girl, but our second ultrasound confirmed it, and I now have no questions whatsoever! I am so excited for us! Have you picked out your crib bedding? Oh! AND... I saw your mom and sister and brother at Ross the other day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kels, I am feeling better because you have nosebleeds too and had a second u/s to confirm things.
ReplyDeleteMy dad is actually making my bedding so I got to go and pick out all the fabrics last weekend. I am doing green and pink stuff. Mostly pink because the walls will be green.
My mom said she ran into you and I was laughing so hard! What are the odds! Can't wait for lunch next week :)
