I decided today that I am ready to have my body back and normal again.
I have had a headache for 5 days now that just won't go away with medicine.
None of my clothes fit-old ones too small and maternity too big.
My hair is multiplying like no tomorrow.
Skin is getting back to normal now.
Yet everything is not quite normal. Ugh!
Unfortunately for me, I haven't gotten to the hardest stage yet. And I still have approximately 162 days until I can even start to try and get my old, normal self back. A baby is worth it right?
Yes they are worth it. After I had Livie my hair was "falling out" for the 1st 6 months after she was born. I know a lot of other people had that happen too. It's not like you get bald spots, I just had so much hair in my brush each time I brushed my hair. I'm sorry your headache won't go away. It sucks because you can only take certain medicines. Hopefully things will improve for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim! I'm sure our little one will be worth it, just hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes. Luckily I haven't been that sick, because if I had I would seriously consider only having one child! ha ha
ReplyDeleteGo to Target. In the maternity section you will find what they call "A Belly Band" and you will fall in love...at least I did. It is a tight band that fits over your regular jeans that don't button or zip anymore or will hold up the maternity jeans that are too big. Only $16 bucks. Also I ran to Gap for a minute today and they have these awesome Khakis that are hipster, they fit under your belly for pregnant mamas they are kind pricey but are on sale. I have several pair. It will make your day:) Plus they have tons of cute maternity shirts on sale too!

I have had one for over a week, oh well... Also, I found some really awesome maternity pants at burlington and ross for like 10 bucks and they are really tight, I have some from Target that are HUGE that I am saving for later... Totally worth it for right now. I LOVE being pregnant! Isn't it so awesome?!
